ZOMBiEZ has sold! As the reality settles in we wanted to take a moment out and say “Thank you” to everyone who helped us along the way and who supported us with your business and encouragement over the past 6+ years. Wow! When we started the former Zoomies was a little worse for wear and we began the hard work of building something we could be proud of. Things started to take shape with bright paint inspired by our years in the Caribbean and Mexico, sparkly vinyl for a touch of fun and a Scooby Doo Zombie Island poster to top it off. We feel like the little burger place that could after some pretty stressful early years. Some of you we’ve known since day one, we’ve watched your babies grow as our own have. Our youngest was in a playpen when this started, not quite two and now our oldest is hitting the teen years and has washed a dish or two (or 100) this past year. We are grateful for our staff and customers, thank you for sharing your lives with us, we will carry Vashon in our hearts always. There’s a 1000 more things to say and reflect on but we’ll keep it with a simple thank you, we love you and see you soon. We pass the torch now to a new island family The Harvey’s and hope you will give them the love and support you’ve given us. Jim and I will be on hand today off and on and I’ll be around a few hours throughout this week to help ease the transition and to say hello. We’re excited for what is ahead for both ZOMBiEZ and our adventures in Oregon at Spyglass Otter Crest - yes, shameless plug : ) We hope you’ll stop in for a visit if you ever find yourself on the Oregon Coast.
